Write Club
The first rule of Write Club: you absolutely talk about Write Club. It's a year-round writing club where you set your own goal, pick your own deadline, and get cheered on by people who get it.
Everything you need to keep showing up for your words.
Your goal, your timeline
Pick total words by a deadline, or words per day with no finish line. Start whenever you're ready. When a round ends, start a fresh one.
Badges worth collecting
27 badges, each one a little typewriter key. Streaks, sprints, sass, and a few mystery badges nobody's found yet.
Accountability partners
Pair up with another writer. See each other's progress, build a shared streak, and send a nudge when it counts.
Word sprints with dares
Start a timer and the whole club writes together. Add a random dare like "a character lies about something small."
The writers' room
A group chat for wins, questions, and pep talks. Plus a wall for the one line you wrote today that made you grin.
Club unlocks
Every word counts toward a shared total. Hit a milestone together and the whole club celebrates.
Two steps and you're writing.
Request your invite
Write Club is invite-only while we test it. Tap "Request an invite," tell us a little about you, and you'll hear from us by email.
Set your goal
Pick your words, pick your dates, log your first few sentences. Then go say hi in the writers' room.
Write Club is for every writer.
That means every race, ethnicity, culture, and religion (or none). Every gender identity and sexual orientation. Every body, ability, and brain. Queer and trans writers, disabled and neurodivergent writers, writers of color, and writers who are just getting started all belong here.
This is a place where every writer is respected, celebrated, and cheered on. If your actions or behaviors go against our inclusivity commitment, you'll be swiftly removed from Write Club.
Free to join.
No paywall, no upsell, no pressure. If Write Club ends up helping you write, you'll find an optional way to chip in and keep it running.
Is it free?
Yes. Write Club is free to join. If it's helping you write, there's an optional way to chip in and keep it running. Zero pressure.
Do I have to be writing a novel?
Nope. Memoir, essays, poems, a newsletter, a business book, that story you started in 2019. If you're putting words on a page, you belong here.
What if I miss a few days?
Then you come back. There's literally a badge for it (hi, Comeback Kid). No shame, no guilt, no streak police.
Pull up a chair.
Your words have been waiting. Come write with people who'll notice when you show up.
Write Club is invite-only while we test it. Request your spot and we'll be in touch.
